The Picard one-piece solid steel hammer is truly a piece of artwork. It is expertly hand ground and polished. It features a leather grip that helps absorb moisture and oils so that the user can hold the hammer firmly. It will also form to the users hand over time. This grip lasts far longer than a rubber, plastic or wood grip and can be adjusted using the end cap screw. This feature allows you to tighten or loosen the leather grip to the users preference. The face and claw are hardened steel. This hammer also called a Latthammer or German carpenter hammer. It features a nail pulling claw but also longer pointed claw that has many uses including chipping, chiseling, slate roofing, rock pick, as well as many more applications.
